MAG Beach Themed Charity Day
MAG Brings The Beach Inland In Support Of Corby Local Charity, Northamptonshire Association for The Blind
It’s safe to say the weather recently hasn’t been up to the usual July standard but that didn’t dampen MAG spirits last week as we held a beach themed dress to work day at both our Rotherham and Corby sites to help raise money for charity.
An overcast Friday morning made for questionable shorts weather and as uniforms were traded out for beach hats and floral shirts, the donations started to roll in. Lunchtime crept closer and the weather worsened, extinguishing all hopes of a barbecue. Despite this, a grand total of over £140 was raised for charity over the course of the day.
Importantly, this money was raised in support of ‘Northamptonshire Association for The Blind’ which is a great cause close to MAG hearts. NAB helps to create better lives for people with sight loss through the provision of emotional and practical support and we hope that our donation can help contribute towards this. We look forward to future charity events and being able to raise more money for people who need it.
